We're rolling out new versions of MPressionist.X. Two new versions to be exact.

We're splitting the MPressionist.X product line into two versions:

1. MPressionist.X Pro - a version specifically aimed at people working with desktop DVD production.

2. MPressionist HD - a no-holds barred version aimed at those working with HD video in all its MPEG-2 varieties. This includes ATSC DTV engineers, and people working with the new camcorders and hi-def televisions that support HD MPEG-2 transport streams over firewire.

The reason for this has to do with the experience I had when demoing the product. No matter where I showed the product, it was enjoyed by all. However, when I started to drill down into the macroblock layer, only DTV engineers stayed tuned in and wowed. Everyone else went into the 'glossy-eyed' realm and waited for me to get back to DVD specific features.
