MegaPEG.X Custom Templates With MegaPEG Batch MPEG-2 Encoding
While there is no specific support in the current version of MegaPEG Batch for custom templates, the product is designed to allow you to refine and experiment with different settings until you have something that works for your program content.

The means by which we accomplish this is using the Scrap/Pasteboard/Clipboard, and using the Copy/Paste metaphor to migrate settings from movie to movie, from movie to batch, and from batch to batch.

Normally, what I do is use 'Movie Settings' to fine-tune a group of encoder settings for a particular kind of clip. When I am happy with those settings, I use Copy Movie Settings/Paste Batch Settings to apply my custom settings to a new, clean Batch document. I then save this batch document under a name which describes the settings, and simply use this batch as a template or starting point anytime I want to re-use the settings.
