Top Support Issue: Batch Encode Creates nothing, or no Audio
If you are using MegaPEG.X Pro SD/HD Batch version 3.0 or higher and experience a problem with the batch completing without creating a final MPEG file or creates a file without audio, then the problem is that your source movie does not have a Unix file extension that we recognize as a QuickTime movie.

Make sure that your source files have .mov file extension. OSType (file type) and creator codes are now deprecated under OSX, and using a file type extension is the preferred method for identifying file types.
